Our bone broth is made by a local company, The Nourished Path, in their certified kitchen using our pig feet, hocks and tails for a rich gelatin based broth. After being cooked for 18 to 24 hours, the bones break down, releasing the marrow and all of their rich goodness of nutrients and minerals stored within them. It is made with all non-gmo and organic ingredients for a healthy broth that can be used for many purposes. Sip a cup in the morning for a healthy boost, use it in soups and sauces or for simmering your meats and stews. It has a very clean taste that you can flavor to your liking.
Joining forces with The Nourished Path has given us the opportunity to work towards our goals of using the whole animal. We believe the best way to honor the sacrifice that any animal makes for us to have nourishment on our table and yours, is by adopting a no waste philosophy. Now, products that would otherwise take a longer time to sell or use, are being utilized to create an amazing and healthy product.
Keep the jar of broth refrigerated and use by the date on the label if the seal hasn't been opened. If the top has been opened, use within 10 days or so. It's a good idea to bring the broth to a simmer on the stove before using. You can extend the shelf life by bringing it to a simmer for 5 minutes and then cooling and re-refrigerating. It will last an extra week if you do this.
MADE IN SMALL BATCHES. This is not always available but pre-orders are encouraged. Once we have several pre-orders in, we will have a new batch made. The chicken bone broth has a 4 week shelf life.
